Abstract
This chapter illustrates the key concepts that are related to cultural tourism, including the destination’s heritage, language and lifestyle, among other aspects. The authors discuss the effects of using creative marketing strategies as they explain their H2LM model of tourism development. This model represents a functional framework that identifies the key strategies for the destination marketing of Italy’s cultural product. In a nutshell, the H2LM model consists of four main elements: Heritage, Language, Lifestyle and ‘Made in Italy’. The authors maintain that these dimensions ought to be considered by destination marketers, particularly if they want to promote Italy’s culture.

Abstract
An unexpected Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has negatively affected the tourism and the hospitality industry, including luxury accommodation service providers. While this was not the first virus outbreak to impact the tourism sectors, in this case, its consequences were devastating. In this light, this contribution analyzes the case of an Italian luxury hotel, a winner of numerous awards during the last few years, including the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Award. The researchers compare its pre- and the post-COVID situation. They clarify that the outbreak has resulted in reduced reservations and explain how the upscale hotel responded to the unprecedented crisis by implementing different approaches. The luxury hospitality business decided to defend its brand differentiation and positioning strategy by continue offering improved service quality and by introducing enhanced hygiene and sanitation facilities, in order to deliver customer-centric experiences to their valued guests.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to highlight the current trends in the literature on corporate governance by applying a bibliometric review of papers on corporate governance topics published in the journal of Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business Society (Bingley).
Design/methodology/approach
Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative and qualitative approach applied to bibliographic materials that highlights the core theoretical and empirical contributions to a specific research field. This analysis was based on keyword cartography, bibliometric authors’ citation analysis, bibliometric papers’ co-citation analysis, bibliometric references’ co-citation analysis, journals’ co-citation cartography and qualitative content analysis. It reviews 353 articles on corporate governance published in the journal of Corporate Governance (Bingley). Bibliometric analysis was performed using VOSviewer, and content analysis was performed using WordStat.
Findings
The results identify three major clusters: corporate governance; board of directors; and firm performance. In addition, the results reveal that the journal Corporate Governance (Bingley) has experienced increasingly important growth in research papers on corporate governance topics and citations, reflecting its significant contribution to the corporate governance research field. This study also presents recommendations for future research in this field.
Practical implications
The findings of this study have implications for corporate governance research, such as the impact of ownership structure and the board of directors on environmental, social and governance disclosure. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is the only one to review the key corporate governance research topics on which papers published in the journal of Corporate Governance (Bingley) are focused and can be largely used for corporate governance practices.
Originality/value
This study provides an overview of how the literature on corporate governance research has developed, as well as a summary of the most influential authors, along with countries, organizations and journal sources. This offers an opportunity for future research to focus on this topic.

Abstract
Purpose
Finding blue colorants from natural sources is extremely difficult and, usually, the anthocyanin compounds are used for producing the blue color. This study aims to apply the Red Cabbage as a natural colorant to obtain different colors on wool yarn, as well as specify the optimum dyeing condition by response surface methodology for obtaining a blue color.
Design/methodology/approach
The effect of dyeing process parameters such as mordant concentration, dyeing time, pH of dyeing bath and dyeing temperature examined in the color characteristics of the dyed wool samples.
Findings
The obtained results indicated that the diverse colors achieve by varying the dyeing process parameters, which is in the range of 26° up to 271°. The non-mordanted dyed wool samples showed a red and red brownish color (Hue angle = 26° up to 70°), and the mordanted dyed wool samples showed a blue and blue-greenish color (Hue angle = 230° up to 271°). The obtained blue color with the optimized dyeing condition presented a considerable good wash and lightfastness.
Originality/value
This study provides a promising application of Red Cabbage as a natural colorant for obtaining different colors by varying the dyeing process parameters such as pH and stannous ion concentrations. The stannous ions yielded a co-pigmentation and presented a blue color on wool fibers, which is extremely difficult to obtain with natural colorant.

Abstract
Purpose
The study investigates the impact of financial development, urban population, technology and energy consumption on economic output and carbon emissions in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) economies.
Design/methodology/approach
The study uses Johansen Fisher type panel cointegration, fully modified ordinary least square and heterogeneous panel causality tests to examine long-run, long-run elasticities and short-run relationships. For conducting the tests, the study selected five emerging economies, i.e. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa and used balanced panel data for the period between 1998 and 2016.
Findings
The empirical results confirm the presence of a long-run cointegration relationship among the variables. We find that financial development, technology and energy consumption have a considerable positive impact on economic output. Also, financial development, urban population and technology help reduce carbon (CO2) emissions and ensure an improved environmental quality in the long run in the five emerging economies. In the short run, a bidirectional causal relationship is noticed between financial development and CO2 emissions.
Practical implications
Clean energy, technological development and investments by public–private partnerships are required in the public and private sectors to reduce carbon emissions. This not only ensures improved environmental quality but also increases energy efficiency, thereby reducing dependency on traditional energy consumption.
Originality/value
As its contribution to the extant literature, the study examines the impact of financial development, energy consumption, technology, urbanization, economic output and carbon emissions in BRICS economies. The findings of the research suggest both the governments and policymakers of these five emerging economies to develop more effective policies toward bolstering the financial development and increasing the use of technology. These, in turn, ensure sustainable development with low CO2 emission in the future and, eventually, pushing those five emerging market economies toward sustainable economic growth.
